The Barker Cafe welcomes you for a delicious cup of coffee brewed from Orange. Massachusetts roaster Dean's Beans. Dean’s Beans Organic Coffee was founded in 1993 with the mission of using specialty coffee as a vehicle for positive social, economic and ecological change at origin. Our student barista's are brewing espresso-based drinks and drip coffee in the sun-filled Barker Rotunda, where ample seating allows you to settle in and study, meet with a group or just relax and unwind.

Barker also features hot-from-the-oven cookies, freshly baked pastries, sandwiches, snacks, Teatulia teas, and kombucha. Barker Cafe is an inviting place for the Arts and Humanities community to talk about ideas and artistic initiatives,to work together, sip a great cup of coffee, and share in two of the great pleasures of life: collegial conversation and artistic and performance events.

Barker is a student-run facility, so will be closed during Spring Break. It will close for the semester at the end of operations on Wednesday, May 1 (the last day of reading period).
