SEC is a 4 Star Certified Green Restaurant!

The SEC Café is located centrally in the the Science & Engineering Complex on Level 1, just west of the main atrium. Surrounded by indoor and outdoor seating, SEC is a bright and welcoming space for gathering and a great meal.

The café features breakfast, lunch, snacks, beverages, and freshly brewed Peet’s coffee. The day starts with freshly made pastries, traditional and artisan breakfast sandwiches and bowls, fruits and yogurts.

At lunch, in addition to salads, soups and chilis, you'll also find creative specialty sandwiches (leading with climate-friendly choices like an Eggplant and Tahini Torpedo or a Vegetarian Roti) and a made-to-order deli, craft bowls with a greens or grains base and a satisfying mix of toppings and proteins (such as the quinoa-based New England Harvest bowl), as well as a traditional american grill with flavorful choices like the Awesome Jalepeno Burger.

Any Harvard graduate or professional school students may elect to purchase a declining balance meal plan for use in designated Harvard University Dining Services Campus Cafes. Catering Services

Harvard University Dining Services (HUDS) is also available to support all your catering needs. We can assist you in planning a continental breakfast for 10 or an elegant sit-down dinner for 200. Beyond our standard catering menu, we can also work with you to design custom menus and events unique to your needs. In addition to your food requests, we can also support your larger events by coordinating rentals such as tables, chairs, and décor, as well as certified bar services.
